RENOLIT PU HT SERIES

High-Temperature Synthetic Polyurea Grease

Description

Lubricants from the RENOLIT PU HT Series are advanced greases designed to provide optimum performance in industrial bearings. These lubricants are formulated with a PAO, synthetic base oil and a shear stable thickener to offer extended life, anti-wear performance, and shear stable performance from -30°C to 160°C. The RENOLIT PU HT Series resists oxidation, is highly water resistant, and has excellent corrosion protection, providing added protection to equipment in wet, humid environments and applications where water wash downs are frequent.

Applications

The RENOLIT PU HT Series is designed for the lubrication of moderate to high-speed ball bearings in pillow block applications. The RENOLIT PU HT Series is also recommended for the lubrication of high-speed ball bearings in applications such as alternators, generators, starters, electric motors, and other long-life applications. Greases from the RENOLIT PU HT Series are recommended for plain and anti-friction bearings for industrial, mining, and automotive applications. RENOLIT PU HT 00 is an NLGI-00 grade grease specifically designed for use in central grease systems. The enhanced pumpability and low-temperature mobility make it an ideal choice for grease systems subject to low ambient temperature. These can also be used for the lubrication of enclosed gears where oil leakage may be a concern. The recommended operating temperature range is –30 ºC to 160 ºC depending on lubrication system design and method of application.
