FUCHS CPX—Latest Corrosion Prevention Solution for Auto Body Cavities

On April 18, 2018, FUCHS Lubricants held a successful seminar in Shanghai on CPX corrosion prevention technology for auto body cavities. Representatives from renowned local and international automotive manufacturers were invited to the event, where they explored new corrosion prevention technology for auto body cavities.

In his opening speech, Mr. Huang Ping, Secretary-General, C&AP Committee of SAE-China, pointed out that corrosion prevention for automotive bodies has always been an important treatment process in the entire automotive manufacturing cycle, yet corrosion prevention for auto cavities is easily overlooked despite its significance. Traditional cavity wax application tends to be slightly demanding in terms of equipment and energy consumption. New technologies introduce more energy-efficient and eco-friendly applications and solutions.

During the seminar, corrosion prevention specialists from FUCHS PETROLUB SE presented the brand new CPX corrosion prevention technology for auto cavities through live demonstrations. This innovation seeks to lower operating costs across various processes, ranging from the initial investment in equipment and the wax and energy consumption during spray application to environmental health and convenient management on site.
