FUCHS Lubricants Invited to China Metalworking Technology Summit 2018

Co-organized by the Metalworking Fluids Committee of Shanghai Lubricant Trade Association and Shanghai Intex Exhibition Co. Ltd , the 3rd China Metalworking Fluids Technology Development Summit ran for two days from June 20th to 21st, 2018 in Shanghai. This year’s summit gathered over 300industry experts and users to discuss the technology development of metalworking fluids.

As a leading supplier of metalworking fluids, FUCHS Lubricants’ Metalworking Product Manager Mr. Zeng Yongjun was invited to speak on the main theme of “The Efficient Application of High PressureCoolant (HPC) in Metalworking Processes”. He shared about different types of coolants and various aspects of HPC including its concept, advantages, fields of application and implementation of best practices. The talk also covered: (a) effects of coolants on the durability of cutting tools, workpiece surface finish, and productivity; (b) challenges that HPC pose to metalworking fluids, and; (c) how FUCHS coolants reduce foaming and maintain consistency of cutting fluids in HPC technology.

During the two-day event, Mr. Zeng addressed queries from industry-specific media such as Shenzhen’s Shangjiyuan, elaborating on common problems of HPC and its outlook.
