FUCHS China Invited to China–SAE VCAP Symposium

The 7th China–SAE VCAP Symposium was held in Yuyao, Ningbo on May 15-17, 2019. Centering around the theme of “building an excellent car for everyone”, the symposium brought together nearly 500 professionals working in Auto corrosion and aging prevention for information exchanges and technical discussion, including technicians, researchers, and managers from Auto manufacturers, parts suppliers, materials suppliers, testing organizations, and research institutes.

Mr. Li Yuntao, Product Manager Corrosion Preventives & Cleaners at FUCHS China, was invited to deliver a keynote speech entitled Effect of Steel Plate Stamping Oil on Whole Car Corrosion Prevention. He shared with the participants FUCHS' research results and best practices in providing corrosion prevention for steel plate stamping. He emphasized that “it is important to choose appropriate steel plates corrosion preventives and stamping oil as they matter to not only corrosion prevention of vehicle body-in-white but also the quality of stamping, welding, bonding, and painting. Customers need to follow a holistic approach when choosing corrosion preventives for electrostatic spraying when the steel plate leaves the factory, and for cleaning and stamping after blanking. In this way, the follow-up processes like bonding and electrophoresis can go well.”
