Drive the Future | Zhejiang Loongson and FUCHS China Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On June 11, 2020, Zhejiang Loongson Electric Drive Technology Co., Ltd. and FUCHS Lubricants (China) Ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement in the signing ceremony held at FUCHS China headquarters.

Zhejiang Loongson Electric Drive Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, manufacturing and sales of drive motors for new-energy vehicles. It has been in close Industry-Academia-Research cooperation with many renowned domestic universities and owns several high-performance flat wire motor products powered by its core technologies and independent intellectual property rights.

Paying close attention to the technological development in the field of new-energy vehicles, FUCHS has been investing in the R&D and manufacturing of special lubrication products for new-energy vehicles, and has participated in the development of the ODIN (Optimization of Drivetrain by Integration) project in Europe. It has been proved that the lubricants developed by FUCHS are able to provide excellent wear protection, low friction characteristics as well as great cooling effect for electric drive systems. The innovative R&D achievements of FUCHS have created new possibilities for motors, reducers and thermal management systems.

The agreement marks the establishment of a strategic cooperation on the development of lubricant solutions for electric vehicles between FUCHS China and Zhejiang Loongson. The two companies will work closely with each other on the technologies related to lubrication/cooling fluid and grease, jointly committed to boosting the rapid development of technologies in the field of new-energy vehicles.
