Formulating the Future —— Celebrating the Success of the 2021 FUCHS China Core Distributors Conference
From July 19th to 21st, 2021, “Formulating the Future: 2021 FUCHS China Core Distributors Conference” was held in the city of Yinchuan —— China’s ancient northwestern frontier and oasis, and the capital city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. More than 230 representatives from the core distributors of FUCHS China and FUCHS employees attended the grand conference to share their success stories and look into a brighter future.
At the opening of the conference, Mr. ZHU Qingping, FUCHS China CEO took the audience back on the extraordinary journey of 2020. Despite the difficult start of 2020, with the concerted support of the distributing partners, the performance of FUCHS China once again ranks the highest in the entire FUCHS Group. FUCHS China has made a series of investments, including the completion and operation of the Yingkou New Plant in 2014, the Suzhou Industry 4.0 Smart Plant in 2019 and the FUCHS Asia Pacific Technology Center in 2020, as well as the upgrade of the Yingkou grease workshop in 2020 and the ambitious planning of Wujiang LUBRITECH workshop to be commenced in 2021. These investments fully demonstrate the full confidence of FUCHS Group in FUCHS China and the Chinese market, also laid down a solid foundation for FUCHS China’s accelerated development. Moreover, Mr. Zhu analyzed the strategic direction of FUCHS Group and FUCHS China. At the critical juncture of FUCHS China’s strategic transformation, Mr. Zhu called on FUCHS China and its distributing partners to share resources, synergize with each other and focus on key industry segments to win the future together.
Mr. YU Zhihe, Senior VP Sales Strategy of FUCHS China, outlines the strategic development target for FUCHS China’s core distributing partners. To realize the common target, FUCHS China will provide capacity building strategies to its major big industry segments’ core distributing partners, as an effort to support their capacity building in multiple dimensions. In addition, FUCHS China will provide support in policy, technology and marketing aspects for them. FUCHS China is keenly aware that only by building a professional sales, technology and service team that works closely with our distributing partners at customers’ sites, can we jointly provide better solutions and services to customers, which underpins FUCHS’ long-standing success and vitality.
The just completed FUCHS Asia Pacific Technology Center is a crucial strategic move to shape the three technology pillars of FUCHS Group worldwide. Mr. Kris Van Gasse, CTO for FUCHS China was invited to speak at the conference about the current status and development vision of FUCHS Asia Pacific Technology Center. The Center boasts world-class R&D facilities and comprehensive competence of the personnel. It was awarded the “Certificate of MNC’s Regional R&D Center” by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government in 2021. By carrying out the critical task of regional technology and product development, it leads technology development in Asia. It enables FUCHS China to realize the vision of “Smart Manufacturing in China” through technology innovation and provide tailor-made lubricant solutions to local customers.
A magnificent authorization and awarding ceremony for Class A Distributors was held during the conference to recognize outstanding distributing partners who have weathered rain and shine and stood shoulder to shoulder with FUCHS China. We hope, through the confernece, to strengthen our strategic communication and cooperative relations with our distributing partners, deepen our industry segments penetration and better implement our 3L and 5S strategies so as to jointly embace the grand vision of FUCHS 2025.
