Accelerate to Achieve: FUCHS China Shall Achieve Higher Against All Odds in 2023
On March 10th, Accelerate to Achieve: 2023 FUCHS China Annual Conference was successfully held in Wujiang, Suzhou, where nearly 500 FUCHS talents gathered to review and recognize the achievements made in the past year and set to implement the plans for 2023 that has already been unfolding.
Mr. Stefan Fuchs, Chairman of the Executive Board of FUCHS PETROLUB SE expressed his regrets for not being able to attend the annual conference in person and conveyed his warm greetings and earnest hopes to FUCHS China colleagues through a video address.
Mr. Stefan Fuchs defined FUCHS China as the growth engine of the FUCHS Group and expressed his pride in the FUCHS China team. He highly recognized the resilience exhibited by FUCHS China in face of the dauting challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic of 2022 and the hard work and sacrifice made by each and every FUCHS talent in achieving this result.
Today’s achievements stem from our years of preparation. FUCHS China has made ample preparation for multiple business segments and enjoys strong support from the FUCHS global network, talent pools, infrastructure and more quality resources. Mr. Stefan Fuchs hopes FUCHS China in 2023 will strive to achieve higher sales targets, sprinting from its solid foundation.
After two years of waiting, Dr. Timo Reister, Member of the Executive Board of FUCHS PETROLUB SE returned to the FUCHS China Annual Conference to brief FUCHS talents about the latest development of the FUCHS Group and expressed his high expectations of FUCHS China.
In face of the difficult external environment in 2022, FUCHS Group achieved a stellar performance and FUCHS China became the biggest contributor to the Group. As a provider of innovative lubrication solutions, FUCHS Group will continue to seize the three megatrends of future mobility, sustainability and digitalization to accelerate to achieve the FUCHS2025 Strategic targets.
Dr. Timo Reister emphasized that the FUCHS Group fully believes in the huge market opportunities and great prospects for China. In 2023, FUCHS China shall deepen its localization and segmentation strategies, intensify collaborations and exchanges with the Group, and make full use of the Group resources to develop efficient lubrication solutions for local customers in China.
Mr. Zhu Qingping, member of FUCHS Group Management Committee and CEO of FUCHS China summed up the year 2022 as “Challenge, but an improving year”. In 2022, FUCHS China withstood the tough test posed by the macro-environment and came out much stronger and more united. FUCHS China has honed its organizational skills and became more resilient to challenges.
Mr. Zhu Qingping stated that Chinese market is full of opportunities, and multiple segments will embrace rapid growth in 2023. FUCHS China shall focus on the five core strategies of segmentation, future-mobility, localization, digitalization and sustainability to shape its competitiveness in digital power, product power, sales power, expert power and organization power—— the five-point competitiveness leading to the company’s success. The company shall do the right thing in the right way to fully seize business opportunities. Moreover, Mr. Zhu emphasized the critical role of innovation and teambuilding as the cornerstone for FUCHS China’s sustainable development.
The path ahead is long and arduous, but we shall persevere and our future shall just be bright. We have already embarked on the exciting journey of 2023. FUCHS China will seize every opportunity and act fast to create glory once again!
