First FUCHS CMP Academy Successfully Held in Luoyang
The first CMP (Cement, Mining, Power Plants) Academy hosted by FUCHS LUBRITECH China was held successfully in Luoyang from 23 to 24 August 2016, an ancient capital in Central China with a long history as a major hub for China in developing and manufacturing equipment for the heavy industry.
For that meeting FUCHS invited experts from the crushing, grinding and kiln division of CITIC Heavy Industry Co., Ltd, one of the leading Chinese OEM’s for the CMP industry, to introduce the working principle and design of ball mills, roller presses and rotary kiln equipment, and talk about lubrication maintenance and discuss the general market conditions in the Chinese heavy industry market. A senior engineer from NHI, another major OEM in this industry, illustrated the working principle, design and lubrication of vertical mill equipment and the future business development of the NHI Group.As a technology leader of specialty lubricants for heavy industry equipment, the engineers of FUCHS also put forward their views of the lubrication conditions for equipment exposed to high temperatures and heavy load conditions and made in-depth technical exchanges with the participating OEM’s and FUCHS sales engineers from across China.
As the host of this Academy, Wolfgang Mertel, Vice President Sales of the FUCHS China LUBRITECH division, with a long technology and management experience in the heavy industry business, introduced a full range of lubricant products for the cement industry and their related applications. Product manager Yin Jun presented the CEPLATTYN GT series, a new generation open gear lubricant containing white solid lubricants. He also stated successful case studies for that product range at domestic and global customers as well as the available approvals from major OEM’s in the heavy industry market. CEPLATTYN GT series, the latest generation products in FUCHS open gear area, fully reflects FUCHS’s “Technology-based, R&D oriented” business development philosophy.
Peter Faulkner, a senior technical expert from the FUCHS group Global Mining division, introduced the lubrication and application in open casting mining, which enriched the engineer’s application knowledge in that field.
FUCHS group always follow on the philosophy of “ Technology that pays back’’, which includes providing training and seminars to sales engineers, product managers and technical application engineers to enhance their professional skill in specific important market sectors for the FUCHS group on a regular basis.
