Collaboration Creates Value: VWED Aftermarket First-Fill Lubricant Launch Event

The aftermarket first-fill lubricant provided by FUCHS for Volkswagen engines was officially launched on August 9, 2023 at the Advanced Technology and Remanufacturing Center of Volkswagen FAW Engine (Dalian) Co., Ltd (VWED).

The launch event was attended by Dr. Raimund Rösch, General Manager of VWED, Li Kun, Deputy General Manager of VWED, Carsten Meyer, Executive Vice President of OEM & Mining Division of FUCHS Group, Member of FUCHS GMC, Xie Xinjun, VP sales of Automotive OEM Division of FUCHS China, and Li Yaofeng, Business Segment Senior Manager (VW) of FUCHS China, etc.

This year saw the 8 millionth engine roll off the assembly line for VWED and the 5 millionth for SAIC Volkswagen. As the “blood” that runs through Volkswagen engines, FUCHS has been a witness to the birth of every Volkswagen engine and has run alongside them throughout their life cycle, from initial filling to the aftermarket. ​
