Smart, Digital Mines Drive a Green Future: Highlights of CCME 2023
The 20th China Coal & Mining Expo (CCME) kicked off on October 25, 2023 with a grand opening ceremony at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) in Beijing.
With the theme of intelligent manufacturing and green development, the exhibition attracted prominent companies from 18 countries and regions, including China, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic and France, with nearly 1,000 participants and more than 130,000 visitors, a record high in terms of exhibition size and number of exhibitors.
Awarded for outstanding contributions
Since its founding in the late 1970s, CCME has witnessed the reform and development of China’s coal industry and facilitated the historical shift in focus of the country’s coal machinery equipment industry from scale and quantity to efficiency and quality, from production to production services, and from coal machinery manufacturing to coal machinery creation. It is now the largest industry exhibition in Asia and one of the four largest mining industry shows in the world.
To mark the 40th anniversary of this biennial event and to gratefully acknowledge the full trust and strong support given by exhibitors and business representatives, two awards were presented at the opening ceremony: the “Exhibitor Award for Outstanding Contribution” and the “Outstanding Individual Contributor Award”. FUCHS Lubricants (China) Ltd. and Yang Zhiyuan, Vice President of Marketing at FUCHS China, were honored with the two awards, respectively.

At the exhibition, FUCHS unveiled a number of new products for the mining industry and presented several rounds of tech talks for the audience.

In addition to offering products commonly used by end users, including gear oil, hydraulic oil, grease, diesel oil, etc., FUCHS also focuses on lubrication applications for core equipment, such as emulsified oil for hydraulic support in underground coal mining, open gear grease for electric shovels in open-pit coal mining and open gear lubricating oil for ball mills in metal ore mining.
In response to the mining industry’s rapid transition to green and smart operations, FUCHS has also developed smart oil monitoring systems and biodegradable and environmentally friendly dust suppression products to move the mining industry towards a more intelligent, efficient and reliable future.
