FUCHS MEi® Technology Awarded Technology Innovation Award at IATC 2023
The 2023 (16th) International Automotive Technology Congress (IATC), jointly organized by the Machinery Industry Information Research Institute, the Automobil Industrie China Media Platform, the Institute for Automotive Engineering of RWTH Aachen University and the Automotive Branch of China Machinery Press, was successfully held in Shanghai on November 10, 2023.
Focusing on technology research and innovation, the IATC has been the center of attention for automotive industry professionals who gather at the event each year to discuss cutting-edge technologies and gain insight into the future.
The IATC consists of a main forum and two thematic sub-forums. At the Innovative NEV Technology sub-forum, Dr. Shi Yi, Senior Manager of R&D at FUCHS Lubricants, delivered a wonderful presentation on FUCHS BluEV, an innovative long-life motor bearing grease.
FUCHS BluEV motor bearing grease is a high-performance series specially designed and developed for NEV motors based on a special formula. This range of products is engineered to cope with the demanding working conditions of electric vehicles of varying power levels, to withstand high-speed operation and extreme changes in speed and to endure electrocorrosion and high and low temperatures, effectively maintaining efficient and long-term motor operation.
The 2023 Automotive Innovation Technology Awards ceremony, held concurrently with the IATC, recognizes innovative automotive technologies and development programs that have made outstanding contributions to advancing technology in the automotive industry. The FUCHS MEi® (Molecular Engineered integration) technology was awarded the Technology Innovation Award after a rigorous evaluation by international automotive technology experts and an online vote by a wide range of automotive professionals. Kris Van Gasse, CTO of FUCHS China, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
