Nearly 500 employees from around the world gathered to build consensus and discuss the future at 2024 FUCHS China Annual Conference held on January 26 in Wujiang, Suzhou. The conference, while commending the achievements of the past year, unveiled the strategic focus and development path of FUCHS China in 2024.
Stefan Fuchs, Chairman of the Executive Board at FUCHS SE, fully acknowledged FUCHS China’s contribution to the Group in 2023 and spoke highly of its performance at the start of 2014.
Despite all the uncertainties, FUCHS is well prepared and confident that it will turn “new challenges” into “new opportunities”, Mr. Fuchs said. In addition to updating the FUCHS China team on the latest developments in the Group, Dr. Timo Reister, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board at FUCHS SE, reviewed FUCHS China’s performance over the past year through a detailed data analysis and indicated the path forward and priorities for 2024.
Looking back, FUCHS has stood out from the competition and set new performance records in 2023. Looking ahead, adapting to market changes remains a constant theme, as signaled by the theme of the conference, “Expand to Explore”. In a world geared towards by electrification, sustainability and digitalization, FUCHS China will continue to play a leading role in the Group’s new energy business in 2024, accelerating sustainability and digital transformation to support further profitable growth.
Zhu Qingping, member of FUCHS Group Management Committee and CEO of FUCHS China, noted that FUCHS China has made outstanding achievements in strategic deployment, product technology, customer relations, talent training and more, and has seen strong upward momentum in growth amid the challenges of 2023, a year defined by complexity, volatility and cut-throat competition.
