Expand to Explore: Successful Convening of 2024 FUCHS China Automotive Aftermarket Distributors Conference

On March 26th, 2024 FUCHS China Automotive Aftermarket Distributors Conference, with the theme “Expand to Explore”, was successfully held in Chongqing, the “Mountain City”. Distributor partners from across the country gathered to discuss industry trends and share best practices, injecting fresh vitality into the future prospects of the automotive aftermarket.

 

Mr. Klaus Hartig, Member of FUCHS Group Management Committee & Executive Vice President East Asia, kicked off the conference via video from Germany by extending warm greetings to all the distributors present. He expressed sincere appreciation for their unwavering support and pledged that FUCHS will join hands with its distributor partners to confront challenges and shape the future together.

Mr. Zhu Qingping, Member of FUCHS Group Management Committee & CEO of FUCHS China, acknowledged the automotive aftermarket’s resilience in overcoming challenges and its impressive achievement of double-digit growth. He proposed six new strategic initiatives: New Member, New Product, New Approach, New Business, New Ethos, and New Achievements. These initiatives are designed to lay the groundwork for FUCHS to establish a strong presence in China, leveraging both tangible and intangible assets to navigate future market changes and competition. Mr. Zhu also warmly invited distributor partners to go into FUCHS, understand FUCHS, and become a fan of the brand. 

During the conference, Mr. Dominik Grünwald, Executive Vice President of Sales Operations at FUCHS China, underscored the company’s relentless pursuit of product and service excellence and its leading position in the field of technology. He noted that technology is one of the three major business principles of FUCHS and reaffirmed the company's commitment to delivering better products and services while working collaborating with all distributor partners for long-term success.

At the conference, Ms. Gao Xuemei, VP sales of Automotive Aftermarket Division, shared that the "FUCHS Precision Lubricants Change” strategy yielded impressive results in its first year of launch in 2023. She emphasized that in 2024, FUCHS will continue to do the right thing and ride high against the odds through three major initiatives: doubling down on precision lubricants change, creating top-notch products, and innovating operations to expand its customer base. Following her, Mr. Yang Liangliang, Marketing Director of Automotive Aftermarket Division, vividly illustrated the “Precision Lubricants Change 123 Action Plan” by breaking it down into three parts:  1 Brand Action for Precision Lubricants Change + 2 Driving Forces (Brand + Flagship Product) + 3 Money-Making Tools".

Mr. Marc Neel, VP PMA, and Dr. Ren Dongwen, R&D Director demonstrated FUCHS strong support for distributors and repair shops from both the product and technical standpoints.

The highlight of the conference was the exciting awards ceremony. On behalf of the management team, Mr. Yu Zhihe, Senior VP Sales Strategy of FUCHS China, honored outstanding distributors for their achievements in sales, service, and channel development. This demonstrates the company's recognition and support for exceptional distributors, while also promoting enhanced communication and collaboration between both parties.

 

In 2024, FUCHS will continue to uphold its principle of putting customer interests first. It will combine the practices from the "FUCHS Precision Lubricants Change” strategy with a keen grasp of the local market, and work closely with its distributor partners to co-create a robust aftermarket ecosystem and strive for business expansion and shared success.
