FUCHS Lubricants (UK) plc proudly marked a significant milestone, celebrating 150 years of continuous manufacturing at their Stoke-on-Trent site. This momentous occasion brought together employees, both past and present, for a day of reminiscence, recognition, and revelry.
The celebration commenced with inspiring presentations and heartfelt toasts from notable figures within the company. Keith Salt, a former employee with deep-rooted connections to both the company's legacy and the area’s history, shared his experiences and the remarkable journey of the site over the last 150 years. Following his speech, Richard Halhead, CEO of FUCHS Lubricants (UK) plc, highlighted the company's commitment to innovation, quality, and community.
“The company has not achieved 150 years due to the location of the site, it is the commitment and innovation of the people, past and present" said Richard Halhead. "The acquisition by FUCHS in the early 90s and the commitment of the shareholders has ensured that the site is the most modern and technologically advanced in the UK. This investment continues today and shows the trust of the Group in the UK business.”
