Textile Machine Oils

Textile machines represent a very wide range of machines with various mechanisms, which also require very diverse lubricants. For example, various high-speed spindles and sewing machines require low-viscosity lubricating oils. Also, knitting machines require oils with relatively low viscosity. Typical viscosities here are VG 10 to VG 22, exceptionally up to VG 32.

On the other hand, there are the transmissions of weaving machines, which operate at relatively low speeds and therefore require higher viscosity gear oils. Typical viscosities are VG 100 to VG 220.

These are the reasons why there is no category of oils for textile machines in the standards.

The common property of all oils for textile machines that may come into contact with a textile product is their good washability or, if possible, a "white" colour oils, so that in the event of accidental contamination of the product, it cannot be devalued by oil stains.
