Protection of people and the environment
The protection of people and the environment are essential foundations of the company policy of FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY. Due to the professional competence of the employees and the extensive measures taken to prevent and limit possible dangers, a high degree of safety for employees and third parties is guaranteed.
Since 2006, FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY (Mannheim) has been subject to the extended obligations of the Hazardous Incident Ordinance due to the quantities of environmentally hazardous substances stored. This has been notified to the responsible authority.
Safety measures
The safety management system documented in the FUCHS corporate policy, in the management system handbook for the Mannheim operational area and in the associated documents has the objective of implementing the safety principles defined as part of the concept for accident prevention.
FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY, Mannheim, declares the regulations of the concept for accident prevention as binding for the Mannheim operational area. Compliance with these principles and the implementation of the strategies are considered a key prerequisite for securing the long-term success of FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY, Mannheim, and at the same time an obligation to society.
In addition, FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY conducts regular compliance audits to ensure that all legal and normative requirements are met. The last inspection took place by the responsible authority (Regierungspräsidium Karlsruhe) on September 26, 2023.
