PLANTOCUT 20 N (Formerly CUTWAY BIO 718)
Product description
PLANTOCUT 20 N is a light, ester-based cutting oil.
Application areas
PLANTOCUT 20 N is recommended for difficult cutting processing in all steel grades, aluminium and titanium. The product also works excellently for plastic processing and for minimum lubrication where a high film strength and low friction is required.
Characteristics and advantages
Contains a unique combination of esters and additives, supplying the product with an excellent lubrication capacity. The product contributes to high product quality, high surface quality on machined components and minimal tool wear. Contains active sulphur, and is therefore not suitable for processing copper as it can discolour the metal. PLANTOCUT 20 N is at the forefront in technical and environmental terms.
Tests and approvals:
Degradability: The base fluid is easily biodegradable according to OECD 301F. Renewability: Comprises >90 % renewable raw materials. Toxicity in relation to aquatic organisms is low.
