Electrodes
The critical points to lubricate in this application are:
- the firing conveyor chain and the cooling tunnel which require a fluid grease with high adhesion and sealing capacity to protect against dust and oxidation.
- the gear unit subjected to extreme ambient dust, vibrations and high temperatures.
- the conveyor-belt bearings, for which we recommend a grease with a high sealing capacity that protects them from dust and has a high resistance to churning so that the grease is not expelled by vibrations.

RENOLIN UNISYN CLP 320 | Fully synthetic, demulsifying, industrial gear oil with high ageing resistance, excellent load-carrying capacity and wear protection. Reliable bearing lubrication confirmed by good FE8 test results. The RENOLIN UNISYN range is preferably used when a wide operating temperature range is required. Good resistance to pitting micro-corrosion. In gearboxes and circulating systems with crankcase temperatures up to 90 °C, longer oil change intervals are achieved compared to mineral-based oils. Miscibility with mineral-based gear oils usually occurs, which means that a simplified conversion is possible. It is able to reduce the operating temperature of equipment by 21 to 7 °C compared to conventional mineral oils. Low foaming due to excellent air release. It provides good ageing resistance, excellent corrosion protection and good viscosity-temperature behaviour. Multigrade characteristics. Miscible with mineral and ester-based gear oils. |

GLEITMO WSP 5040 | High-performance white grease paste. Suitable for low sliding speeds and high loads as well as in case of contact rust. Application as a paste for threaded joints subjected to high temperatures up to +1200 °C. Suitable for machine components of all kinds that are subject to very high pressures, heavy loads and oscillating movements. Particularly in wet environments or under the effects of splashing water. For sliding surfaces that are prone to stick-slip and seizure.
