Pickling
In acid pickling, FUCHS provides surface treatment and lubrication solutions in this aggressive environment.
To avoid the undesirable effects of over pickling it is important to use appropriate corrosion inhibitors to control unnecessary acid consumption and improve the flatness and surface appearance of the sheet metal.
Having the best rust inhibitor additive is key to improving the appearance of the plate and avoiding sludge build-up in the rinsing baths as a result of line stoppages.
We also offer pickling accelerator products, wetting surfactants, which increase the speed of the process.
In addition, in such an aggressive environment it is important to use specialised high performance lubricants to preserve the integrity of the components in the process.

Neutralised and passivated after pickling rinses

RENOCLEAN L 570 / 572 / 574 | Easy-to-use liquid chelating and neutralising agent. Easy to measure, high passivating power. Its synthetic nature removes the need for pre-cleaning of used circuits before use. It is easy to control its concentration by continuous alkalinity or conductivity. Removes light oxides that may occur between phases after pickling and adhering metal salts thanks to its chelating action. If antioxidant is used, neutralisation would be unnecessary. |

RENOLIN HVI Series | Demulsifying hydraulic and general lubrication oils with a high viscosity index (HVLP). They are mineral oil-based and contain zinc and additives that improve ageing behaviour, corrosion and wear protection. RENOLIN B HVI oils are suitable for all hydraulic systems, especially if excess viscosity during start-up or insufficient viscosity at operating temperature is problematic. RENOLIN LD 10 | Fluid for cleaning hydraulic and lubrication circuits, free of chlorinated solvents, for cleaning and flushing hydraulic and lubrication circuits. Eliminates gumming caused by infiltrating cooling lubricants. Machines can continue to run normally during cleaning and flushing. However, an oil change is recommended because all contaminants are carried away. It is approved by DIN 51502: HLP, DIN 51524-2: HLP (except for demulsifying properties) and ISO 6743-4:HM. |

Lubricating and assembly pastes for applications with very high loads or temperatures

MEISSELPASTE | Copper-coloured lubricating paste. Range -20 to 1100 ºC.
