VOITH specification overview for automatic transmissions in commercial vehicles
General Information
VOITH Turbo is one of the major automatic transmission manufacturers especially for buses. Bus operators worldwide appreciate the innovative DIWA transmissions from VOITH, which are used in more than 160,000 vehicles.
VOITH has defined its own oil specifications for the use of automatic transmission fluids (ATFs) in the various transmissions. These have also been adopted by the OEMs in own specifications. In the following table we would like to give you an overview of these specifications as well as the maximum possible drain intervals:
VOITH | MAN | EvoBus | Maximum possible drain interval | FUCHS product |

FAQs
Are the respective VOITH specifications backwards compatible with the previous specifications?
Higher VOITH specifications cover the respective previous specification. Thus, instead of VOITH H55.6335.xx, a product according to VOITH H55.6336.xx can also be used, for VOITH H55.6336.xx a product according to VOITH 150.014524.xx can be used. Please also refer to the corresponding information in the maintenance manual.
Which oil drain intervals can be realized with the respective specifications?
The maximum drain intervals depend not only on the specification used (see above), but also on the respective gearbox type:
DIWA.5 and DIWA.6 maximum 180.000 km
DIWA.0, DIWA.1, DIWA.2, DIWA.3, DIWA.3E maximum 120.000 km
DIWA 502-2 with disc and 502-3 with disc maximum 60.000 km
Please also refer to the respective information in the maintenance manual.
What does “xx” stand for at the end of the specification?
“xx” is a placeholder for the currently valid version number of the oil approval lists at VOITH. With each update, this number is increased by 1. Only the oil approval list with the highest version number is valid. The current versions of the approval lists can be found here:

Are the above-mentioned approval lists valid worldwide?
The approval lists above are valid worldwide with the exception of North America and Latin America. Please refer to VTI-DIWA Service Bulletin 013 and 118 or DIWA Service Bulletin LAT013.
Why does FUCHS not have a product approved according to VOITH H55.6336.xx?
Actually, our products TITAN ATF 1 and TITAN ATF 5500 were both approved according to VOITH H55.6336.xx for years. VOITH had an extra section in the this approval list for products suitable for extended oil drain intervals (up to 180,000 km instead of the standard 120,000 km). This section was later split off in the independent approval list VOITH 150.014524.xx.
Since then, our products TITAN ATF 1 and TITAN ATF 5500 have been included in this new approval list. Unfortunately, it is not possible to be named with one product on different approval lists. Only the naming on one single list is possible. Since VOITH 150.014524.xx covers VOITH H55.6336.xx, the named products carry the corresponding recommendation for VOITH H55.6336.xx and can be used for these applications.
Are the corresponding FUCHS products approved for initial filling by the vehicle manufacturer / OEM?
TITAN ATF 1 is also approved for the initial filling of DIWA transmissions by the respective vehicle manufacturer. This ensures that the CO2 emissions and fuel consumption determined in accordance with European Union Regulation 2017/2400 for the type approval of heavy commercial vehicles can be met.
Are the corresponding FUCHS products approved for DIWA transmissions with angle drive?
TITAN ATF 1 has been specifically approved for use in DIWA transmissions with angle drive.
