Reduction in the eco-contribution in 2025

Since April 1, 2022, as part of the extended producer responsibility (EPR), our company has been obliged to collect an eco-contribution from its customers.
As of January 1, 2025, the eco-contribution will decrease from €89 / ton to €67 / ton.

This eco-contribution, relating to the fight against waste and the circular economy, aims to meet the objectives set by the state, particularly in terms of the collection and regeneration rate of used oils and fats.

The EPR applies to mineral or synthetic, lubricating or industrial oils, likely to generate waste oils, which are used for the following purposes:
• Combustion engines and turbines
• Gears
• Movements
• Compressors
• Multifunctional
• Hydraulic systems and shock absorbers
• Electrical uses
• Heat treatment
• Non-soluble for metalworking
• Used as heat transfer fluids

Please note that soluble oils are not part of this list. Used oils are those oils that have become unfit for the use for which they were initially intended.
