Approval AIRBUS for FUCHS ECOCOOL GLOBAL S 240 and PLANTOCUT 22 SR metalworking fluids
In December 2021, we were informed by AIRBUS that our two metalworking fluids PLANTOCUT 22 SR and ECOCOOL GLOBAL S 240 had been officially approved. Both products are listed in the new version of the AIRBUS AIPS approval list 00-00-010 “List of cutting fluids authorized for drilling and machining operations”. ECOCOOL GLOBAL S 240 is excellent for wet machining of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) and glass fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP). PLANTOCUT 22 SR can be used universally as a minimum quantity lubricant (MQL) and cutting oil for machining. ECOCOOOL GLOBAL S 240 is a fully synthetic, water-miscible coolant and is used by AIRBUS for wet machining of CFRP on individual parts and assemblies (stacks). PLANTOCUT 22 SR is an ester-based cutting oil used by AIRBUS for drilling applications on metal assemblies in aluminium, titanium, stainless steel (CRES) and copper alloys.

Le nouvel AIRBUS A350 se compose déjà de 52 % de composites de fibres, ce qui réduit considérablement le poids et la consommation de carburant d’aviation. Pour ces raisons spécifiques, ces matériaux sont en hausse et des fluides de travail des métaux sont nécessaires pour un usinage efficace.
