Sheik Siraj Alhamrani is a member of the Advisory Board of FUCHS PETROLUB AG as well as the president of the Saudi Arabian corporation ALHAMRANI GROUP OF COMPANIES with whom FUCHS PETROLUB has been working in partnership within the framework of a joint venture since 1992 for the distribution of a wide range of lubricants in the Middle East.
In the same way as FUCHS PETROLUB, ALHAMRANI-FUCHS PETROLEUM SAUDI-ARABIA has traditionally been involved in important socio-political areas. The joint venture particularly supports youth work and promotes environmental protection in Saudi Arabia. These activities are bolstered by the sheik's extraordinary civic mindedness. Although they stem from diverging cultures, the two companies share the same values when it comes to social commitment, a fact that is particularly welcomed in the political and cultural environment of Mannheim.
Sheik Siraj Alhamrani made a donation to these two organizations in 2005 already. His renewed commitment will enable the "Mannheimer Platte? to provide hot lunches for the homeless and allow furnishings to be purchased for homeless shelters under the expert guidance of the City of Mannheim.
