CEPLATTYN TL
Suspension of oil emulsion
with solid, metallic lubricants
Performance Features
- temperature range of dry lubricant film >0 / +600 °C
- ensures relative movement of the riding ring
- reduces tribocorrosion
- good penetrating properties into wire ropes and riding rings
- base fluid evaporates slowly at temperatures >100 °C
- builds up a dry lubrication coating after evaporation of the base fluid
Description
CEPLATTYN TL is a silvery high-temperature lubricant containing a combination of metallic solid lubricants of highest purity. The metallic particles safely separate hot metal surfaces being in contact.
Field of application
CEPLATTYN TL is especially designed for the internal lubrication of riding rings on cement kilns or dryers as well as for the re-lubrication of wire ropes exposed to high radiation heat.Riding ring application: The product is applied between riding ring and shell. Once applied it penetrates between ring and shell quickly. After evaporation of the base fluid the solid lubricants contained build-up a dry lubrication film.CEPLATTYN TL forms a silvery coating on the lubricated areas. Thus it is very easy to inspect whether the lubrication procedure was performed properly. Wire rope application: CEPLATTYN TL is especially used for wire ropes exposed to naked flames, near molten steel, e.g. in the steel industry.
Method of application
CEPLATTYN TL can be applied manually or via suitable spraying equipment.Lubrication intervals depend on the prevailing condition.
Note
Do not spray on the outer surfaces of riding ring or support roller. In any case a penetration of CEPLATTYN TL to the outer surface of the ring must be prevented!Protect from frost! Stir well before use!
