HYKOGEEN RLP 100

Minimum quantity lubricant for pressure die casting of aluminium

Performance Features

  • reduced porosity of the cast parts
  • economic work due to extremely low consumption
  • environmentally friendly

Description

HYKOGEEN RLP 100 is a mixture of high-grade oils for the minimum quantity lubrication during pressure die casting of aluminium. It consists only of lubrication active ingredients and is applied undiluted to the moulds. Due to the abdication of a carrier medium, wetting of even very hot tools is possible. The use of modern, automatic spraying equipment ensures an economic and environmentally friendly work.

Field of application

Pressure die casting of aluminium while using a minimum quantity lubrication system. The cooling and lubrication of the tools are thus completely independent from each other.

Method of application

Automatic, undiluted spray application with modern minimum quantity lubrication systems. The consumption lies as low as 60 to 120 g per ton aluminium cast.

Industries

  • Casting
  • Metal processing
