Description

ECO-HYD S PLUS is a largely applicable, ecologically harmless synthetic ester-based hydraulic oil (HEES) which is able to replace mineral-oil based types ranging in the viscosity classifications ISO VG 22 to ISO VG 68. It matches the specifications of ISO 15380. ECO-HYD S PLUS shows an excellent low-temperature behaviour as well as an outstanding temperature and ageing stability. The reserve performance of ECO-HYD S PLUS surmounts those of conventional mineral-oil based hydraulic oils.

Field of application

ECO-HYD S PLUS is recommended for the lubrication of machinery hydraulics when operating under extreme conditions e. g. temperatures below -30 OC or permanent oil-temperatures above 100 OC in reservoirs.

Method of application

Since ECO-HYD S PLUS is fully miscible and compatible with mineral oils, changing over to this product is no problem. Due to the fact that small residual quantities of mineral oil or corrosion preventives (in new gearboxes) can raise the water pollution category all systems should be thoroughly cleaned prior to the premiere use with regard to the VDMA-guideline 24569 and our technical information on ECO-HYD S - oils. In order to remove dissolved and filtered-out residues the filter-systems also have to be cleaned various times after having changed to ECO-HYD S PLUS owing to its high detergency. A compatibility to paint finishes and seals cannot be generally guaranteed, we therefore recommend a prior check or using paints based on two components.
