New transmission oils for heavy vehicles reduce running costs
New trucks, buses and construction vehicles are being developed all the time. This is also true of the drivetrain, where new transmissions and axles place ever-higher demands for technically sophisticated oils that deliver optimum performance. Fuel consumption, servicing costs and downtime are key factors in minimising a fleet’s running costs, and using the right oil is crucial. Alongside leading OEMs, we have developed four transmission oils that meet the very latest requirements.
TITAN ATF 5500
A new transmission oil specially developed for long change intervals in heavy vehicles.
In recent years, OEMs have managed to extend change intervals from 30,000-60,000 km to 120,000 km, or even up to 180,000 km. TITAN ATF 5500 is a premium performance ATF for automatic transmissions, specially developed for long change intervals.
- ZF Ecomat transmissions in buses, trucks and special vehicles (ZF TE-ML 14C) ZF
- ZF Ecolife gearboxes in buses (ZF TE-ML 20C) for change intervals up to 120,000 km (2 years)
- VOITH DIWA transmissions according to VOITH 150.014524.xx. One of the first oils approved for change intervals of 180,000 km.
TITAN ATF 5500 is colourless and available in Bulk, 205 L and 20 L. Replaces TITAN TRANSWAY ATF ULTRA.

TITAN CYTRAC TD SAE 75W-90
A versatile new transmission and axle oil for heavy vehicles.
In modern heavy vehicles, the chosen oil must have the ability to provide effective protection against wear throughout the change interval, while demands on low fuel consumption and long change intervals increase.
TITAN CYTRAC TD SAE 75W-90 is a premium performance gear oil for the entire drivetrain, suitable for heavily loaded hypoid axles as well as manual transmissions in heavy vehicles. The product ensures exceptional lubrication even under the toughest conditions. TITAN CYTRAC FE SYNTH SAE 75W-85
A new transmission oil for gearboxes in heavy vehicles by Mercedes-Benz.
For the latest CO2 transmissions in heavy Mercedes-Benz vehicles, we have developed a unique gear oil. TITAN CYTRAC FE SYNTH SAE 75W-85 is tailor-made for the special demands of this optimised gearbox technology, and is exclusively approved in line with the new MB 235.16 specification.
Thanks to its low viscosity, TITAN FE SYNTH SAE 75W-85 affords great fuel-saving opportunities, while maintaining excellent wear protection even under heavy strain. Perfect gear lubrication is assured over a broad temperature range thanks to optimised viscosity-temperature properties. Excellent ageing stability makes TITAN CYTRAC FE SYNTH SAE 75W-85 suitable for the longest change intervals.

A new gear oil for manual and automatic transmissions in heavy vehicles.
Transmissions in modern heavy vehicles need an oil with a viscosity that saves fuel and has good low temperature properties. It also has to protect the gear against wear even under heavy strain, and have a long change interval.
TITAN CYTRAC MAT SAE 75W-80 is approved for long change intervals in transmissions from ZF and VOLVO:
- ZF ASTronic (ZF TE-ML 01L, 02L, 16 K)
- VOLVO I-shift (VOLVO 97307)
- MAN 341 TYPE Z4
Replaces TITAN GEARWAY S4 SAE 75W-80.
