Discover our polyurea-based greases!
Nowadays, about 70% of the world’s greases are based on lithium or lithium complex technology. Lithium is a non-renewable raw material, also used to make lithium-ion batteries for electric cars.
As the production of electric vehicles increases, so too does the need for lithium. Global consumption of lithium is expected to increase considerably in the next few years, from around 20,000 tonnes to around 50,000 tonnes in 2025.
There are various alternatives to lithium-based greases, and our range includes high-performance polyurea-based greases for demanding applications. The products are based on organic, non-saponified polyurea thickener. Our range includes a wide selection of products for most applications.
Benefits:
- Fewer different greases required thanks to a wide temperature range
- Long, reliable service life thanks to very good mechanical stability and resistance to ageing, also under high loads for long periods
- Generally speaking, a polyurea-based grease is expected to have three to five times the service life of a lithium-based grease
- High thermal resistance allows excellent function at raised temperatures
- “Fill-for-life” lubrication. In many cases, polyurea-based grease is an excellent choice for this type of application.
