Adhesive lubricants for tough tribotechnical conditions
The first product in the CEPLATTYN range was developed 50 years ago, and was the first sprayable adhesive lubricant. Today, CEPLATTYN encompasses a wide range of adhesive lubricants for a wide variety of applications and tough tribotechnical conditions.
The product portfolio comprises grease-based, graphited lubricants, high-viscosity fluids free from solid lubricants, and semi-fluids containing solid lubricants. The CEPLATTYN range can be used in numerous industrial applications, such as open gear drive units on rotary kilns, ore crushers, sliding tracks, chains, wire ropes, screw couplings, azimuth gears and rotary bearings in the wind power industry, and more.
The CEPLATTYN range is, quite simply, multifunctional. The products can be used equally for lubrication in Arctic conditions down to –50°C, high-temperature applications up to +400°C, and construction in aquatic environments that require the use of environmentally sound products. The products are also completely free of heavy metals, chlorine compounds and solvents.
They are recommended by leading equipment manufacturers and can be used with all types of application systems. Thanks to their special composition and extremely good adhesion properties, they can help you to efficiently reduce machine part wear even when applied sparsely.
Maintain maximum uptime with the FUCHS service programme for open gear trains
FUCHS offers an advanced service programme for open gear trains. We can help customers safeguard running-in and/or calibration of new equipment. The concept we use is called Multi-Phase-Lubrication (M-P-L), and is deployed under the watchful eye of our experienced service engineers. If required, we can also offer help with grinding and even repairing gear rims, for example.

With our Lubricants Inspector system, we have also taken servicing of open gears into the digital age. FUCHS Lubricants Inspector, which now encompasses more than 6,900 machines from 2,350 plants, makes it easy for you to monitor trends in your equipment.
At FUCHS, we are always working to continuously develop our portfolio and ensure it contains the most up-to-date products and services. Two of our newly developed products are CEPLATTYN GT and CEPLATTYN CLEANER.
CEPLATTYN GT is a range that contains white thixotropic fluids with unique flank-protecting properties, also when not in motion. The products also contain flame-retardant additives to further improve safety. They also definitely make it easier for more customers to reduce consumption of conventional black products. And the GT products are also nicer to work with. Because just like all other CEPLATTYN products, the GT range is completely free of heavy metals, chlorine compounds and solvents.
CEPLATTYN CLEANER is a new fluid for cleaning gear tooth flanks – during operation ahead of inspection or work on tooth flanks.
