Introducing TITAN CARGO FLEX K-4 SAE 5W-30

General information
The introduction of the new API CK-4 specification for heavy duty vehicles in 2016 resulted in new requirements for the corresponding engine oils. The API CK-4 specification surpasses the previous API CJ-4 specification, among other factors, on the level of wear protection, oxidation stability and engine cleanliness to meet the increasing requirements in engine technology. 
Meanwhile, the API CK-4 specification has become a standard, especially for the European and American markets, for heavy-duty vehicle engines, construction and agricultural machinery with gas treatment systems such as particulate filters, diesel oxidation catalysts, exhaust gas recirculation and SCR catalysts (e.g. VOLVO VDS 4.5).

Product and Application Profile

TITAN CARGO FLEX K-4 SAE 5W-30 is a premium performance oil, specially developed for heavy duty vehicles with turbochargers and modern exhaust gas treatment systems. According to its performance profile it is the right product for a large number of manufacturers and an excellent addition to the TITAN FLEX product range.

TITAN CARGO FLEX K-4 SAE 5W-30 impresses with its outstanding wear protection and very good piston cleanliness, which prevents cylinder area damage caused by blocked piston rings.
The low sulphated ash content provides protection for exhaust gas treatment systems such as particulate filters or SCR catalytic converter systems.
In addition TITAN CARGO FLEX K-4 SAE 5W-30 also provides excellent oxidation and ageing stability over the manufacturer's specified oil drain interval.
TITAN CARGO FLEX K-4 SAE 5W-30 is compatible with previous API Cx sequences and can be used in older vehicles.
