TITAN ATF 8400 ULV
General Information
As manufacturers continue with their goal to reduce emissions in modern passenger cars, all power take-off and transmission components play an important role in achieving this goal. The trend is toward a shift to low-viscosity fluids, not only for engines but also for transmissions. This can be clearly seen in the following diagram, where the downward trend in viscosity over the years appears.

With the introduction of TITAN ATF 8400 ULV, FUCHS has developed a product that meets the new objectives. Suitable for automatic transmission applications requiring an ultra low viscosity ATF from Japanese manufacturers (AISIN WARNER AW-2) and ideal for use in most German, French and American OEM vehicles (FORD MERCON ULV & GM DEXRON ULV).
Important:
This fluid is not backwards compatible with previous specifications and therefore cannot be used in transmissions requiring specifications such as, AISIN WARNER AW-1, GM DEXRON VI or FORD MERCON LV.
