General Information

As manufacturers continue to strive to reduce further the emissions of modern passenger vehicles, all the components of the powertrain andthe drivetrain play a significant role in achieving this goal. The trend to move to lower viscosity fluids not only for engines but for transmissions too. This can be clearly recognised in the diagram below, which shows the downwards trend for viscosity over recent years.

With the introduction of TITAN ATF 8400 ULV, FUCHS has developed a fluid that supports those goals. Suitable for ultra-low viscous applications using automatic transmissions of Japanese manufacturers (AISIN WARNER AW-2) and ideal for use in vehicles from major German, French and American (FORD MERCON ULV & GM DEXRON ULV) OEMs.
