This is a lubricant for automatic transmissions, the development of which also takes into account operating costs, downtimes and reliability, which are important factors for manufacturers as they affect the overall cost of a fleet. As a Premium Performance ATF fluid, it is especially suitable for ZF ECOMAT and ZF ECOLIFE transmissions and is officially approved by ZF. Fluids for automatic transmissions are constantly changing. Operating costs, downtimes and reliability play an increasingly important role in minimizing the overall cost of a fleet. This extension of oil change intervals is naturally a challenge for lubricants. In particular, the requirements in terms of thermal and oxidative stability to avoid oil thickening and deposits are much higher than at shorter intervals. Similarly, optimum friction properties must be guaranteed in order to achieve the best gearshift performance, as well as reliable protection against wear, even in continuous operation.
