New high-performance fluid for dual-clutch transmissions in hybrid sports cars

This FUCHS fluid was specially developed in an exclusive partnership with Hofer Powertrain for the wet dual-clutch hybrid transmissions of McLaren hyper sports cars. The performance highlights of BluEV DHTF9 are its optimized friction properties, low viscosity for high efficiency, high clutch friction stability, high protection against wear and corrosion, as well as optimum gear protection. In addition, it provides smooth, jerk-free gear changes throughout the component's life cycle and an excellent degree of product cleanliness. In this way, reliable gearshift performance is achieved.

This is a transmission fluid specially developed in partnership with HOFER POWERTRAIN, the manufacturer of the gearbox for the brand new McLaren Hyper Sport Cars such as the McLaren Senna or Solus GT, and therefore has the McLaren 8ESSG recommendation.
The transmissions of these exclusive vehicles are of the wet double-clutch type and also feature hybrid propulsion systems. FUCHS has developed a special fluid that is fully compatible with the sealing materials used and is also suitable for the friction coefficients required for transmissions of this type.
The low viscosity contributes to optimized efficiency, while the exclusive additive pack promotes excellent cleaning power throughout the life of the transmission.
