New FUCHS Oil for Mercedes-Benz Hybrid Engines
Always outdoing itself, FUCHS is launching the new TITAN SUPERSYN PRO 229.52 SAE 0W-40. The Ultra High Performance engine oil further differentiates the viscosity grades and fulfils the Mercedes-Benz 229.52 approval, one of the specifications with the greatest weight within the Mercedes-Benz universe. This FUCHS lubricant provides high fuel economy and superior performance. It contributes to more efficient and sustainable driving, while raising standards of engine cleanliness and protection. It is ideal for the latest generation of Mercedes-Benz M254 and M256 plug-in hybrid petrol engines and can be used in AMG models.
General Information
The Mercedes-Benz 229.52 specification is, to this day, one of the specifications with the greatest weight within the Mercedes-Benz universe and allows for various SAE viscosity grades. With the introduction of our TITAN SUPERSYN PRO 229.52 SAE 0W-40, we have been able to further expand the viscosity grades we offer, to now include SAE 0W-40 in our TITAN portfolio that fulfils the Mercedes-Benz 229.52 approval.
Product Profile and Application
TITAN SUPERSYN PRO 229.52 SAE 0W-40 is ideal for the latest generation of Mercedes-Benz M254 and M256 plug-in hybrid petrol engines. In the particular case of the M254 engine, used in the C-Class and E-Class models, only the SAE 0W-40 viscosity is permitted for oil change services, and the use of a lubricant with the characteristics of TITAN SUPERSYN PRO 229.52 SAE 0W-40 is mandatory.
In addition, the MB 229.52 specification in SAE 0W-40 can also be used in various AMG models, for example the AMG GT 43 (MY2018 onwards) or the A35 AMG (MY2019-2022), which extends the scope of application of TITAN SUPERSYN PRO 229.52 SAE 0W-40.
