Description
URETHYN HG 0 is a beige coloured grease containing a synthetic base oil. URETHYN HG 0 contains special additives and a selected combination of white solid lubricants to enhance the EP properties.
Field of application
URETHYN HG 0 was developed for the lubrication of highly loaded hinges, joints and other connecting elements. It offers a reliable long-term lubrication on steel/steel slide surfaces which are exposed to considerable temperature variations and provides very good corrosion prevention. URETHYN HG 0 is suitable for the lubrication of sintered metals.In addition to that URETHYN HG 0 is suitable for the lubrication of roller and plain bearings at extremely low temperatures. The pumpability in central lubrication system has been verified to -50°C.
Method of application
URETHYN HG 0 is applied manually or via suitable central lubrication systems.
Note
Because of the low base oil viscosity at ambient temperature, the grease should preferably be applied at temperatures below the freezing point when applied in large excavators. At higher surrounding temperatures the use of an alternative product has to be clarified with FUCHS or with the machine manufacturer.
