Description
URETHYN CC 2-1 is a yellowish-brown, mineral oil-based grease with a homogeneous and soft structure and a polyurea thickener. Specifically selected additives improve the corrosion protection properties and the load carrying capacity.
Field of application
URETHYN CC 2-1 is used for the lubrication of plain and roller bearings at elevated temperatures, especially in the steel industry for continuous casting plants, as well as for other bearings subject to high temperatures, humidity or higher specific loads.
Method of application
URETHYN CC 2-1 can be applied manually or via centralized lubrication systems. It is easily pumpable even through very long supply lines. Contamination with other greases, which occurs when changing over to URETHYN CC 2-1, normally does not cause any problems. Please observe bearing and machine manufacturers’ recommendations.
Note
URETHYN CC 2-1 is approved by the German Steel Industry Association VDEh according to its standard SEB 181 255.
