Description

CARBAFLO 2455 is a fluorescent special grease based on a highly stable synthetic oil and white solid lubricants. It is resistant to many aggressive chemicals and offers an excellent compatibility with various elastomer and plastic types. CARBAFLO 2455 is especially suitable for components that are inaccessible for re-lubrication during normal operation, or for components that cannot be lubricated effectively with conventional lubricants. The addition of a UV tracer allows simple identification of CARBAFLO 2455 using a UV lamp. This facilitates quality inspection during production and subsequent leak detection.

Field of application

Typical applications include: mechatronic components, O-rings, seals and grommets, plastic bearings and chains, control elements, potentiometers and timers, plastic gears and conveyors, hinges and locks, components subject to high thermal fluctuations.
