Freddie progressing well following final round of Winter Series
This weekend Freddie and the team were at Fulbeck in Lincolnshire for the last round of the winter series. After missing Saturday practice due to illness Fred was on the back foot to say the least and with this still being only his 3rd Cadet race he had to start from the back of the grid (which he has to do until he has completed 6 race meetings).
After being slowest in the 5 minute warm up which was to be expected, he managed to progress steadily through the heats but only qualified 14th for the final and after the 12 lap race, Freddie crossed the line in 11th place and had a big smile on his face!
Freddie is progressing very well and this Easter weekend the team head to Glan Y Gors in Wales to compete in the first round of the Northern Karting Federation Championship, which is a national Championship with a grid of 27 Honda Cadets so it will be a steep learning curve to say the least!
