FUCHS Historic Rally Championship – Carlisle Stages preview

Ninety crews will take to the start line for the Carlisle Stages Rally on Saturday as the third round of the FUCHS Lubricants British Rally Championship gets underway.

Currently leading the championship after the Pirelli Rally in April are three Ford Escort mounted crews. Joe Price/Chris Brooks (MK2, class D5) are ahead on points with Stanley Orr/Grahame Henderson (MK1, class C5) and Adrian Hetherington/Ronan O‘Neill (MK2, class D5) lying equal second.

The leader after the Rally North Wales, Nick Elliott, is currently sidelined from competition having broken his wrist on the second stage of the Pirelli Rally.

The six stages for the event are located in the western section of Kielder Forest, and visit Kershope, Newcastleton and Florida.
