Race win for Jamie Ellwood at Cadwell Park

On a grid of 25 identical 1.6 Caterham Supersport cars, FUCHS supported Jamie Ellwood qualified P2, just 0.013s off pole.

The 2018 APL Health Caterham Sigmax Championship grid is one of the most competitive ever with no less than 4 Caterham champions and 11 previous race winners.

The track was dry for the race and Jamie got the perfect start to lead into Coppice on the first lap. The lead swapped regularly during the 25 minute race, but he never dropped lower than 2nd.

On the final lap, Jamie re-took the lead and held it to the chequered flag to finish 0.4 seconds ahead (with 10s covering the top 11 cars).

Jamie is now joint lead in the championship and looking for more of the same at Silverstone on 12 / 13 May.
