4th Place for JDM Racing at the American Speedfest

Event – American Speedfest Brands Hatch Indy circuit 9th 10th June.

The annual speedfest event is the largest and most prestigious event in JDM Racing's calendar. Sharing the programme with 5 other series including NASCAR Euro series and Formula 5000. It’s estimated that during Saturday and Sunday over 30,000  spectators attend the event.

After a disappointing start to the season, with snow at Donington and engine overheating issues at Silverstone, Brands Hatch proved to be a much more successful event and the team were able to put the new engine through it’s paces during the 3 race weekend.

The grid was shared with 32 V8 muscle/sports cars including Corvettes, Mustangs, Cobras, TVRs and MGBs.

JDM qualified 8th in class (M) and finished the event 4th in class, just outside of the trophies and a lap time of 56.1 sec.
