Round-Up: Black / Gilbey claim FUCHS Lubricants 1400 title on Woodpecker rally
Black / Gilbey blitz FUCHS Lubricants 1400 Challenge on Woodpecker rally
Callum Black and co-driver Michael Gilbey (Pictured) won their class on last weekend’s Woodpecker rally to clinch the FUCHS Lubricants 1400 Championship with one round to spare. Once dropped scores are taken into account, the Black / Gilbey consistency throughout the year has sealed their position at the top of the table, and it was this attribute that once again proved to be the deciding factor on the Woodpecker’s five demanding stages. In an astonishing feat, the pair finished in the top 20 overall (out of 151 starters) in their 1400 cc MG ZR S, putting many more powerful machines in their place.
Congratulations to Callum and Michael - FUCHS LUBRICANTS BTRDA 1400 Rally Champions 2019.
