Dennis Racing left frustrated at Thruxton

With a warm welcome from the CSCC and a pleasant surprise seeing his car on the cover of the weekends program, Dennis Hays and his team were all set for qualifying.

Looking forward to stretching their new engines legs after a quick warm up lap Dennis was already showing good pace. His first flying lap however, was cut short by a technical fault.

With the car rebooted and all looking fine, the same issue happened again.

The car was eased round to complete the required qualifying laps in the hope it was a simple fix for the race.

After reviewing the data logging the tough decision was made not to race and preserve the engine hoping the damage is not already done.
