Application Engineering
FUCHS serves as your strategic partner, offering comprehensive technical support through a dedicated team including sales engineers, field service technicians, application engineers, and product managers. Our sales engineer acts as the primary point of contact, while field service technicians conduct on-site analysis and troubleshooting. Additionally, our application engineers and product managers are readily available to assist with process management, product selection, troubleshooting, and more.
Roughly 90% of the fluid used for machining is water. This makes the water quality one of the most important factors in your fluid performance. FUCHS analyzes your site water and works with you to optimize the overall performance. FUCHS uses this data to help select the right water miscible cutting fluid for your specific process.
Our application engineers work with your sales engineer to help optimize the fluid performance within your site process. We work to understand your process and select the appropriate fluids for your processes, but also to help you to make process improvements. This includes and is not limited to things like tramp oil removal equipment, filtration, and water treatment.
We also provide training and onsite support for full system cleaning and will work with your operators to properly dump, clean and re-charge your metalworking fluid systems. This includes cleaning prior to the change out, proper cleaning practices, and how to properly add your ECOCOOL fluids to the system.
