RENOFORM OL 8190
Chlorine free neat forming and fineblanking oil
Description
RENOFORM OL 8190 is a heavy-duty lubricant designed for use in fineblanking and severe forming operations, including heavy gauge and high carbon steel. It is also effective in shaving operations. It is a chlorine-free alternative to highly chlorinated oils typically used in fineblanking and is designed for use on ferrous metals. RENOFORM OL 8190 contains extreme pressure additives and a significant lubrication package that can provide protection of tools and the workpiece. It is typically used on difficult fineblanking and severe metalforming. Its viscosity reduces air mist created with lighter oils and air driven part ejectors. It also further helps protect tooling. Compared to chlorinated oils and many lubricants composed of sulfurized lard oil, RENOFORM OL 8190 demonstrates improved resistance to corrosion and staining. It is lighter colored and does not have a heavy sulfur odor.
Application
RENOFORM OL 8190 is used undiluted as received. It can be applied by sprayers, roller, dip, or flood and performs effectively in recycling systems. The product should be stored in its original sealed container between 45° - 90° F. Safety data sheets are available. Before handling, read the product information and safety data sheets for proper handling and health hazard information. RENOFORM OL 8190 is readily cleaned from parts with most alkaline part cleaners. Your local FUCHS representative can provide you with specific recommendations for your operation.
