Food grade oil for airline lubrication

Description

FM AIR LUBE AA is specially developed for use as airline lubricant in the food and beverage processing and packaging industry.

This lubricant is based on careful blend of food grade base fluid with emulsifiers, detergents and dispersants chosen for their ability to meet the stringent requirements of food and beverage industry.

Registered by NSF (Class H1) for use where there is potential for incidental food contact. This product is produced according to FUCHS quality standards, in facilities where HACCP audit and Good Manufacturing Practice have been implemented and form part of the quality management systems ISO 9001.

Performance Features

  • Absorbs water up to 10% of its weight
  • Keeps lines clean and free of condensate
  • Prevents gummy build ups
  • Readily atomized and carried in the air stream to lubricate parts of the tool or pneumatic device
  • Protects air lines, tools and pneumatic device against corrosion

 

Applications

  • Lubricates pneumatic actuators and lifters, air motors and air tools in the food industry 

 

Seal and paint compatibility

Compatible with the elastomers, gaskets, seals and paints such as poly-urethane and two part epoxy resin paints, frequently used on machinery and in lubrication systems employed in the food processing industry.

 

Handling and storage

All food grade lubricants should be stored separately from other lubricants, chemical substances and foodstuffs and out of direct sunlight or other heat sources. Store between 32 °F and 100 °F. Provided that the product has been stored under these conditions we recommend that the product be used within 5 years from the date of manufacture. Upon opening a pack, the product must be used within 2 years (or within 5 years of the date of manufacture, whichever is sooner).
