RENOFORM SYN 7945
Water-soluble synthetic metalforming lubricant
Description
RENOFORM SYN 7945 is a heavy duty, chlorine free synthetic drawing and stamping lubricant intended for medium to severe forming operations on ferrous metals. It can also be used on nonferrous and galvanized metals, but should be cleaned immediately after the stamping process to reduce the possibility of staining.
RENOFORM SYN 7945 contains high performance lubricity additives for extended tool life and exceptional part quality and is capable of replacing many highly chlorinated products. Renoform SYN 7945 is designed to resist microbial growth. It is ideal for use in recirculation systems. The anticorrosion features on ferrous metal are excellent. It is compatible with carbide tooling.
How to Use
RENOFORM SYN 7945 is used diluted with water. Better water quality (hardness below 200 ppm) will provide best results, but it can be used in hard water. Typical use rate is 4:1 to 9:1. Your FUCHS representative can work with you to optimize the most efficient dilution and application techniques. The product should be stored in its original sealed container at temperatures between 45°F– 90°F. Safety data sheets are available. Before handling, read the product information and safety data sheets for proper handling and health hazard information.
