ANTICORIT PL 39 LV 18

Oil-Based Blankwash Fluid and Forming Lubricant

Description

ANTICORIT PL 39 LV 18 is a low-viscosity, oil-based blank wash and corrosion preventative for cleaning and protecting cold-rolled and zinc coated sheet steel prior and aluminum prior to forming operations. In blankwash systems, it effectively removes surface contaminants to promote a consistent metal finish.

ANTICORIT PL 39 LV 18 provides outstanding lubricity for various metals and substrates, including ferrous, zinc coated, and aluminum. It is particularly designed to enhance the compatibility of adhesives with steel and aluminum surfaces. The oil film provides excellent indoor corrosion prevention for in-process storage of blanks and formed components. It is easily removed with mild alkaline cleaners and is compatible with phosphating processes, electrophoretic paints, and established adhesives used in car body construction.

ANTICORIT PL 39 LV 18 is approved by BMW for use on parts that enter body-in-white paint systems.

How to Use

ANTICORIT PL 39 LV 18 is designed for use in coil and blank washing systems. Use undiluted. Recommended coating weight is 0.8 to 1.5 g/m2. It can also be used as a forming lubricant and applied by spray or rollers.
