FUCHS Lubricants Backed Racers Produce Remarkable Results

Regan Wasmuth, the FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored motocross rider participated in Round 3 of the 2018 South African National Championship.
In the qualifying race he finished in 8th position after encountering some mechanical issues with his race bike.

Race 1: Regan found himself having to push from a few spots back and he eventually finished the race 2nd, while setting the fastest lap of the race.
Race 2: Once again Regan stayed in the leading pack in second position. He held on to this position until the end of the race, earning him a second place overall for the day.

"It was good weekend of racing as I managed to have one of my best performances. A big thank you to my mechanic and trainer for using the appropriate FUCHS lubricants, this gave me the competitive advantage I needed to give it my all," he said.

Cameron Durow: Cameron finished 39th in the qualifying race, 25th in race 1 and 30th in the second race.

Monroe Racing: The Monroe Racing team travelled to neighbouring Zimbabwe were to race in Round 3 of the 2018 Zimbabwean Superbike Championship held at the Sables Dragpro Zimbabwe circuit on Sunday, May 20.

Zoé Bosch qualified in sixth position on the grid during Sunday morning’s session. The opening race of the day saw the FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored rider finishing finished the race in fifth position.

The second race she made a good start and stayed with the leading pack. She finished the race in 4th position. In the handicap race she secured another 4th place.

Nicole van Aswegen who had made her debut in Zimbabwe almost didn't have her day on the race track due to a mechanical failure on her bike. However, luck was on her side as she was able to race. She qualified in 4th place on the grid and finished Race 1 in third position. Race 2, unfortunately she had an accident and was forced to withdraw from the race.

Junior rider Jessica Howden also kept the Monroe Racing flag flying high in the 250cc Cup races. The young rider coached and mentored by both Bosch and Van Aswegen as part of Monroe Racing’s development initiative in partnership with Toyota Zimbabwe finished in third position overall during the sprint races prior to recording her maiden victory during the handicap race.
